A behind-the-scenes look at how user experience design and conversational AI are transforming live entertainment, from music festivals to stadiums, by making every fan interaction faster, smarter, and more human.
How UX in entertainment and AI are shaping the future of live experiences

Designing for the Crowd: How User Experience and AI Are Shaping Entertainment
In today’s entertainment world, great design doesn’t just happen on stage—it happens behind the scenes. It’s in how fans find information, how easily they move through digital experiences, and how connected they feel before even showing up at a venue.
From music festivals and sports games to immersive shows, expectations have changed. People want answers now, coordination that just works, and a personalized experience at every touchpoint. This is where user experience in entertainment meets the power of AI—and where real innovation starts.
Where Entertainment Meets Intelligence
When most people think of AI in entertainment, they picture recommendation engines or deepfakes. At WANDR, we see something different: the ability to use conversational AI to enhance real-time communication at scale.
We recently brought this vision to life at Estéreo Picnic, one of Latin America’s most iconic music festivals. In partnership with Brücke Data Intelligence, a forward-thinking startup based in Colombia, we set out to make the festival experience smoother, smarter, and more human. Together, we designed a conversational AI system on WhatsApp that could answer anything attendees might ask: set times, ticket pricing, venue maps, weather updates—you name it.
The results? Fewer support tickets. More confident guests. A crowd that could focus on enjoying the music, not figuring out logistics. That’s the power of user experience in entertainment when it’s done right.

Designing Bots That Feel Human
Building AI tools isn’t just about logic—it’s about empathy. We designed this experience by mapping out real user behavior, not ideal scenarios. We crafted conversation flows that could handle not just the “should-ask” questions, but the messy, human ones people actually ask in real life.
In entertainment, time is everything. People don’t want to wait on hold or dig through a clunky FAQ. User experience in entertainment ensures your conversational AI feels intuitive, fast, and human.
Scaling Without Losing the Human Touch
With events welcoming tens or even hundreds of thousands of people, scalability is key. But scale shouldn’t mean sacrificing experience. We combine design thinking with smart tech to help entertainment brands grow without losing what makes their experience special.
Whether it’s a chatbot that acts as your festival concierge or a support system that guides fans through a stadium, user experience in entertainment makes it work—because the best experiences aren’t just functional. They’re memorable.

Let’s design something people will talk about.

How is AI being used in live entertainment experiences?
AI in live entertainment goes well beyond recommendation engines. One of its most practical applications is conversational AI, which allows event organizers to communicate with thousands of attendees simultaneously in real time. Through platforms like WhatsApp, AI-powered assistants can answer questions about schedules, ticketing, venue maps, weather, and logistics instantly, reducing pressure on support teams and keeping attendees focused on enjoying the event.

What is user experience in entertainment and why does it matter?
User experience in entertainment refers to every touchpoint a fan encounters before, during, and after an event, from browsing a festival lineup online to finding their seat or getting a real-time answer to a question. When these interactions are intuitive, fast, and well-designed, they reduce friction and increase the overall sense of connection fans feel with an event. Poor UX, on the other hand, creates frustration that can overshadow even the best performances.

What was the Estéreo Picnic AI project and what did it achieve?
Estéreo Picnic is one of Latin America's most prominent music festivals. In partnership with Brücke Data Intelligence, a Colombia-based startup, WANDR designed a conversational AI system on WhatsApp that allowed festival attendees to get instant answers to common questions including set times, ticket pricing, venue maps, and weather updates. The result was a measurable reduction in support tickets, more confident attendees, and a smoother overall festival experience.

How do you design a conversational AI that feels human rather than robotic?
Designing AI that feels human starts with studying real user behavior rather than ideal scenarios. This means mapping out the actual questions people ask, including the messy, off-script ones, and building conversation flows that can handle ambiguity with grace. Tone, pacing, and response structure all play a role. The goal is for users to feel heard and helped quickly, not like they are navigating a decision tree.

How can large-scale events maintain a personalized experience for attendees?
Scale and personalization are not mutually exclusive when the right systems are in place. Conversational AI allows events with hundreds of thousands of attendees to deliver tailored, real-time responses to individual questions without overwhelming a human support team. The key is combining smart technology with thoughtful UX design so that every interaction still feels relevant and personal, regardless of how many people are being served simultaneously.
